Gastrodia cunninghamii
This orchid can be very difficult to spot in the forest with its brownish coloration.
It has no leaves or chlorophyll. Instead it obtains its food from a fungus Armillaria mellea which is parasitic on tree roots.
Gastrodia cunninghamii can grow to a height of about 1m.
