Postia atrostrigosa (Cooke) Rajchenb.

A smallish bracket with dark brown fibrils on the upper surface. It is attached by a broad base and is up to 6 cm wide. The pores on the under surface are usually whitish, but this can vary from grey to dull mauve, depending on age or if it has been dry. It is associated with brown rot in trees.
