Entoloma translucidum E.Horak
E. parsoniae and E. tristificum are now regarded as synonyms of this species.
This species is a dark brown with an umbo and occasionally with concentric rings of slightly different colours. Cap diam: 25–60 mm. The gills begin as beige and become pink. The stipe is brown but covered with white fibrils.
Found under many forest types.
