Entoloma melanocephalum G. Stev.
A dark blue-black species, 20–50 mm in diam. The cap is convex in shape with a small depression at the centre. The gills are pale bluish-grey, becoming pinkish on maturity. The gill edge is blue. The stipe is a bluish olive colour with a white weft of mycelium at the base.
Found in mixed broadleaf-podocarp forest and under beech.
