Cortinarius lubricanescens Soop
A glutinous greyish white to pale fawn species with a cap diam. of 10–45 mm. The gills and stipe are also greyish white, although the gills may have a pale mauve tinge. Under beech.
This purple cortinarius is a colour variant of C. lubricanescens. This becomes a lilac-pink as it matures.
