Crinipellis procera G. Stev.
This one is quite distinctive with its long skinny stem that is usually described as being like horse-hair.
It has a long thin tough stipe with a small light brown cap which is usually darker at the centre, and a white spore print. Cap diam: 5–15 mm. Stipe up to 150 mm tall.
This species is found throughout the country amongst leaf litter on the forest floor.
Crinipellis filiformis G. Stev.
This is a very tiny species with a cap of 2–3 mm diameter. The cap has a ‘frill’ to the cap edge. The stipe can be up to 40 mm long, and is thread-like.
Found amongst leaf litter on the forest floor.
