An introduced mushroom. Found on dung, heavily fertilised soils and with grasses. Cap diam: up to 40 mm. Characterised by its egg-yolk appearance.
Bolbitus muscicola (G. Stev.) Watling
This species has a glutinous cap which is pale with a network of variable brown to dark grey markings on it. Cap diam: 15–50 mm. Spore print is tawny orange,
Found in mixed broadeaf forest and with beech.
