Amanita australis G.Stev.
The cap is pale greyish/beige with darker warts. Cap diam: 20–90 mm. It usually shows a ring on the stipe.
Found under Nothofagus and tea tree
Amanita karea G.S. Ridl.
Coloured from fawn-grey to greyish sepia. Cap diam: 20–60 mm. The stipe has a ring which is white to grey, often with pale grey bands above the ring. The base is swollen.
