Acrobolbaceae

In this family the sporophyte is produced in a pouch called a marsupium. The plants have no underleaves.

This specimen was found growing on an old log.

Each leaf is about 2 mm, with two points at the ends.

Tylimanthus tenellus

Found on the bark of an old Pinus nigra. Growing intermixed with other bryophytes.
