Tricholoma albobrunneum (Pers.) P. Kumm.

An introduced species usually found with conifers. It is a reddish brown colour with white gills which turn a reddish brown colour on maturity. Cap diam: 5–8 cm.

Tricholoma batschii Gulden

An introduced species found under fir trees. A robust red-brown species, darker at the centre, up to 90 mm in diam., with a red-brown stipe.

Tricholoma pessundatum (Fr.) Quél.

A reddish brown species found under pines and Douglas fir. It can be quite large with a cap diam. up to 150 mm.

This species has been called T. stans in New Zealand, but apparently that species is not found here.

Tricholoma viridiolivaceum G. Stev.

An olive green to yellowish species with a darker centre. Cap diam: 30–80 mm. Found under beech and tea tree
