Scytinotus lonquuis (Berk.) Thorn This is the only species of this genus that occurs in New Zealand. It occurs in groups on dead tree trunks and branches.They are grey, often with a pink or mauve tint. The pileus is 1-5 cm x 25 cm, and can feel quite gelatinous or rubbery.The stipe is laterally attached. |
