Rhizopogon luteolus Fr. An introduced fungus found half buried in soil under pines. It is of an irregular globose to ellipsoid shape and is a yellowish brown. Size: up to 50 mm x 35 mm. There is another similar species which has reddish tints and is also associated with pine. |
