Pseudocolus fusiformis (E. Fisch.) Lloyd

This unusual fungus belongs to the stinkhorn group.

The white arms emerge from a greyish “egg”. The smelly spore-bearing mass is on the inner surface of the arms. It is found in native forests and in gardens in mulch. Size: up to 60–70 mm tall.
