Polyporus hypomelanus Berk. ex Cooke

A small kidney-shaped bracket, up to 50 mm wide, with a short lateral stem found growing on standing wood. It is a reddish brown with a darker surface bearing pores underneath.

Polyporus nigrocristatus E. Horak & Ryvarden

Found on very rotten wood. The upper surfface shows bands of brown colours while the pores underneath are white. Cap diam: up to 40 mm wide.
