Pleurotus purpureoolivaceus (G.Stev.) Segedin, P.K. Buchanan & J.P. Wilkie These are fleshy fungi found growing on dead wood. They are attached with a short stalk on one side of the cap. The spore print is white. Cap diam: up to 60–70 mm. This is the most common of the native species, found in beech forests, sometimes in large groups. |
