Phlebopus marginatus Watling & N.M. Greg. This is a large solid bolete found under mixed broadleaf trees. The cap is dark brown to blackish with a yellowish pore surface underneath. Cap diam: up to 100 mm. It is found in Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Australia as well as New Zealand. It has been reported from overseas that a specimen was 70 cm in diameter and weighed 32 Kg. |
