Oudemansiella australis (G.Stev.)& G.M. Taylor

This white fungus is found on fallen rotting logs. Cap diam: up to 50 mm. The stipe is eccentric, white near the top, going darker towards the base.

A very tall (15–20 cm) mushroom. Cap diam: 30–100 mm. Found in open areas amongst grasses and in bush areas. It has a long rooting base.
