Morchella importuna M. Kuo, O'Donnell & T.J. Volk This is a distinctive sac fungus with a honeycomb-like appearance of the cap. Size: 40 x 20 mm. This type of fungus is commonly known as a morel. Many of the ones seen in NZ are introduced and found with exotic trees, but there are some undescribed native species. |
