Hohenbuehelia parsonisiae G. Stev.

This species could be mistaken for a Pleurotus.
Its spathulate cap is 3–6 cm x 2–4 cm. The gills are whitish when young, becoming fawn or ochraceous as it ages. It grows on fallen wood or soil rich in humus.
