Gymnopus ceraceicola J.A. Cooper & P. Leonard (was Marasmius otagensis )
This tan brown to purplish brown species is found in groups on fallen beech branches and twigs. The cap is striate towards the margin and diam. is up to 20 mm. The gills are cream in colour. This species smells of garlic, though some people describe it as rotten cabbage.
