Gloiocephala rubescens (Segedin) Desjardin & E Horak. This species is small (cap diam: 5–15 mm) and is shell or fan shaped.It starts as a whitsh colour, changes to ochre then reddidh brown. The edges of the gill start off white but also change to reddish colours. Found on rotting leaves of monocotyledons eg. nikau palms. |
