Gliophorus lilacipes E. Horak This species seems to be somewhat variable in colour, and in the past has apppeared in one publication as Hygrocybe viridis, and in another as G. versicolor. The colour of this one varies as the cap ages, changing to a washed-out pink. These ones started off a blue colour. Cap diam: 15–25 mm. Found amongst leaf litter in mixed podocarp-broadleaf forest. As shown in the photos here, this species is quite variable in colour - another one where microscopic details are important for identification. |
