Ganoderma sp.

A common woody bracket fungus found on exotic trees. The underside is white when developing, but turns brown on maturity. At times clouds of brown spores can be seen as they are released into the breeze.

Ganoderma australe (Fr.) Pat.

Found on native trees. Size: 100–150 mm wide and 70–100 mm deep. The underneath spore-bearing surface is white.

Ganoderma sp.

Found on native trees. The width of these can vary considerably, depending on age, from 7 cm to 50 cm.
