Galerina austrocalyptrata A.H. Sm. & Singer

A small golden yellow species with a striate cap found amongst mosses. Cap diam: up to 10 mm. There are several other small species of Galerina found on wood or in mossy habitats.

Galerina patagonica Singer

Found on rotting wood, this is the most common species of Galerina. It has a distinctive umbo on the cap and a ring on the stipe. Cap diam: up to 45 mm.
