Dicephalospora chrysotricha (Berk.) Verkley

This small bright orange yellow ascomycete (cup fungus) is found on fallen twigs of Nothofagus.

Cup diam. 3-4 mm. When it becomes dry the cap closes to a slit.

Found in the Kaimanawas.
