Cortinarius austrovenetus Cleland This is an introduced species from Australia where it is associated with Eucalyptus trees. The cap is usually slightly viscid. Diam: up to 5 cm. The gills are yellow, varying fromlemon yellow when young to yellow brown as they age. The stipe is up to 8 cm tall, relatively stout and can be coloured from off-white to a cream colour, often whith some stains of yellow, orange or brown. |
