Cortinarius vitreopileatus E. Horak A glutinous pale ochre to honey brown species with a striate cap. Cap diam: to 50 mm. The gills and the stipe are similar to the cap in colour. The stipe is swollen towards the base. This species and C. viscostriatus are very similar but under a microscope it can be seen that C. viscostriatus has a sterile edge to the gills. Under beech. |
