Cortinarius taylorianus E. Horak

A large glutinous mauve-grey species with a golden-orange centre. Cap diam: 30–100 mm. The gills are violet-blue becoming rusty brown. The mauve-grey stipe is cylindrical to clavate, often with a bulb. Under beech.
