Cortinarius melimyxa E. Horak
This is a smaller species with cap diam: up to 20–25 mm. The cap is yellow-brown to honey brown and is darker at the centre. The cap can be campanulate or umbonate in shape. The gills are argillaceus in colour when young, becoming an ochre as they age. The stipe starts whitish but becomes brown with age and the lower part covered in white fibrils. Under beech.
