Aurantiporus pulcherrimus (Rodway) P.K. Buchanan & Hood A small, soft, brightly coloured polypore which is often found in groups on trunks of dying beech trees. Size: these fruiting bodies in the image were young and only 15–25 x 20–25 mm. When mature they can be up to 95–70 mm. It causes a white rot. |
