A large purple-brown cap with a covering of darker scales. It has a persistent membranous ring. Cap diam: to 70 mm.

Found under tea tree.

Agaricus aff. xanthodermus Genev.

Commonly known as the “yellow stainer” as the flesh turns yellow when damaged. The cap is 60–100 mm in diameter. Found in grassland.
