Agaricus moelleri Wasser (Syn. Agaricus praeclaresquamosus) A medium-large mushroom often found in bark gardens or in grass where there is a lot of organic matter eg. from mulched hedge trimmings. It first appears white, but then quickly develops brown-grey colourings. The stem turns yellow when bruised as can be seen in the second image. |
